// Open to new opportunities — Tripoli, Libya
AHMED
ALFALEET
I'm a software engineer who genuinely enjoys solving hard problems — whether it's building a system from scratch, leading a team through a tough deadline, or figuring out why the code broke at 2 AM . I care about quality, collaboration, and shipping things that actually work.
ABOUT ME
Hey, I'm Ahmed — a software engineering student graduating in 2026, and someone who's been working in tech long before finishing my degree. I started out fixing computers and troubleshooting networks, and slowly worked my way up to leading technical teams and helping build software that's used by thousands of people.
These days I'm especially interested in AI-powered applications. My graduation project, Investly, is a smart investment platform with real machine learning features I built and trained locally — things like face verification, document analysis, and adaptive UX personalization.
Outside of code, I value clear communication, ownership, and just getting things done. I've worked with international clients, managed teams under pressure, and learned that the best solutions usually come from listening first and typing second.

CURRENTLY LEARNING
EXPERIENCE
- Joined early and helped grow the company into one of Libya's top three POS and software providers — we ended up serving over 4,000 customers, many of them international.
- Started as a support specialist and worked my way up to running the entire technical support department. Along the way I also got into sales and wrote code in VB.NET and SQL.
- Wore a lot of hats — jumped between departments, handled escalations, trained staff, and made sure clients felt genuinely taken care of. That breadth taught me to adapt fast and stay calm under pressure.
- One of the founding employees — helped build the technical services department from scratch, supporting companies, government institutions, and international embassies across Tripoli.
- Working with clients from very different backgrounds sharpened my communication skills: how to explain technical things clearly to people who don't want to hear about IP addresses.
- Got hands-on with real networking environments — routers, switches, ISP configurations, cabling, and troubleshooting under tight deadlines.
- Diagnosed and repaired hardware and software issues every day — this is where I built the instinct for knowing what's wrong before running a single diagnostic tool.
- Assembled custom PC builds from scratch based on what each client actually needed and could afford. Learned quickly that listening matters more than pushing specs.
- Handled post-sale support and walked customers through their setups — my first real lesson in making sure people leave satisfied, not just "fixed".
PROJECTS
My graduation project. A smart participatory investment platform with ML features I actually trained — face verification, document forgery detection, text summarization, keyword extraction, and adaptive UX personalization. Built from scratch, not tutorials.
Explored how to compress images without losing what matters — faces, text, and fine detail. Used computer vision to guide where quality gets preserved. Less storage, more intelligence.
Built a real-time face detection and recognition system using Python and OpenCV. Clean, fast, and actually works — not just a tutorial clone. Named it Yoda because it sees everything.
A fully functional console-based library system in Java — handles book cataloging, user accounts, and borrowing workflows. Solid OOP, clean logic, no unnecessary complexity.
Advanced management and recitation tracking system engineered for Quran learning centers. Built with VB.NET and SQL Server featuring mistake classification and student tracking.
Modern human resource management system designed to simplify employee management, administrative operations, and organizational workflows.
Lightweight social media web application demonstrating backend development, authentication, and Supabase PostgreSQL integration.
